Life-cycle assessment (or LCA) is a technique for modelling the interactions between a product and the environment, with the LCA methodology being standardised to ISO14040. A LCA assesses all the major impacts associated with each stage of production; from raw materials mining through to processing, manufacture, distribution, use, repair and disposal or recycling.
The zircon "cradle to gate" LCA is now complete and will be published soon. An Executive Summary is available from email@example.com
