ZIA launches training grants to power industry-wide ESG progress

The Zircon Industry Association (ZIA) has unveiled new ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) training grants to help member organisations upskill and strengthen their ESG capabilities. These grants are open to all member categories—Producers, Consumers, and Associates—regardless of their current level of ESG maturity.

Designed to fund professional ESG training, the initiative underscores ZIA’s drive to raise standards and accelerate ESG integration across the zircon industry.

Dr Keven Harlow, ZIA Executive Director, commented:

“Over the past four years, our ESG benchmarking reports have shown strong progress—but we know our members are at varying points on their ESG journey. These grants will help bridge that gap, boost ESG skills, and encourage broader participation in our ESG data initiatives and committee.
